I started an indoor volleyball team this year in partnership with Ovations School For The Arts. While I love beach volleyball, the indoor version of the game is just as much fun!

What's up with volleyball lately?
It was too cold in February for beach volleyball so I postponed starting until the weather began to cooperate. I'm hoping that's right about now. :)
Also, some of the parents expressed an interest in an adult class so I wanted to put that out there....if any one is interested in participating in an adult beach volleyball class, let me know.
That said, I'd like to start an 8-week beach volleyball class for ages 8 to 16. We will meet once a week for two hours. During this time, we will practice serving, passing, setting and hitting, as well as, play games.
The cost for the two-hour class is $10 per participant. Sibling discounts are available. Payment is preferred in full, but paying by the class is fine.
The days I have available are Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Times available are 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.; 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. or 3 to 5 p.m.
Practices will be held at either the beach volleyball courts in Gulfport, or the sand courts at North Straub park in St. Petersburg. At the end of the 8 weeks we will play a game against Club V players. Club V is a beach volleyball club off of U.S. 19, south of Ulmerton, in Clearwater.
